If the TCS system is switched off in the centre console using the TCS and ESP button -E256-, the warning light 2 for ESP and TCS -K216--1- must light up when the ignition is switched on. |

| If the warning light 2 for ESP and TCS -K216--1- does not light up when the TCS system is switched off in the centre console using the TCS and ESP button -E256- and the ignition is switched on, this may be due to the following cause: |

| Only the TCS system can be switched off using the TCS and ESP button -E256-. |

| The ESP system cannot be switched off, i.e. the ESP system always remains active. |

| If the ABS warning light -K47--2- does not go out after switching on the ignition and the completion of the test, this may be due to the following causes: |
-a- the supply voltage is less than 10 V |
-b- an ABS fault is present |
If an ABS fault -b- is present, the anti-lock brake system remains switched off while the conventional brake system remains fully operational. |
-c- a sporadic fault existed on a wheel speed sensor after the last vehicle start |
In case of a wheel speed sensor fault -c-, the ABS warning light -K47- goes out automatically after restarting the engine and after a speed above 2.75 km/h is reached. |
