Removing and installing the brake pedal as of MY 2011 > < Separating the brake pedal from the brake servo unit and clipping as of MY 2011

Removing and installing the foot controls as of MY 2011
Removing:
   
–  Remove cover of fuse box -1-.
–  Unscrew the fuse box and lay to the side.
–  Remove crash struts → Chapter.
Vehicles without air conditioning
–  Remove the footwell vent → Heating, Air Conditioning; Rep. gr.80.
For vehicles with air conditioning
–  Remove the footwell vent → Heating, Air Conditioning; Rep. gr.87.
–  Disconnect the plug connection from the accelerator pedal position sender.
–  Remove the accelerator pedal → Relevant engine; Rep. gr.20.
–  Separating the brake pedal from the brake servo unit → Chapter.

–  Unscrew the nuts -arrows- on the foot controls.
–  Remove the foot controls.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
–  Clip the brake pedal onto the brake servo unit → Chapter.
