| If there are any complaints about the engine behaviour and the engine performance, the primary cause may be insufficient fuel pressure in the low pressure area of the fuel system. Fuel pressure-related faults in the high pressure area of the fuel system may result from a too low fuel pressure in the low pressure area. |

| The fuel pressure in the high pressure area of the fuel system is determined with the diagnosis of the engine control unit → Vehicle diagnostic tester. |

| The fuel pressure in the low pressure area of the fuel system is measured with the pressure gauge -VAS 6551- → Chapter. |
