Coolant regulator housing, removing and installing the coolant pipe at the rear

  Note
t  Draining and filling up coolant → Chapter.
t  Do not separate the coolant regulator housing otherwise the leak tightness of the coolant regulator housing is no longer guaranteed. If functional problems occur at the coolant regulator, the coolant regulator housing must be completely replaced → electronic catalogue of original parts.
1 - to the expansion reservoir
2 - towards top radiator
3 - Coolant regulator housing
–  with coolant regulator
–  Start of opening approx. 88 °C
–  End of opening: approx. 103 °C
4 - Coolant temperature sender -G62-
–  with coolant temperature gauge sensor -G2 -
5 - “O” ring
–  replace
6 - Retaining clip
7 - to heat exchanger
8 - 20 Nm
9 - to the front coolant pipe
10 - 10 Nm
11 - to heat exchanger
12 - The coolant pipe at the rear
13 - Washer
