Test sequence
Test sequence
–  Unplug the plug on the camshaft position sensor -G163 --arrow-.
   
For engines with engine code BFQ
  S28-0139
For engines with engine code AVU
Continued for all engines
–  Switch on ignition.
–  Connect up hand multimeter and measure the voltage as follows:
  S28-0159
For engines with engine code BFQ
  S28-0140
For engines with engine code AVU
  S28-0124
3-pin plug -1- on wiring loom, contactSpecification
1 + 3min. 4.5 V

If the specified value is not reached:
–  Test wiring → Current flow diagrams and Fitting locations
