Display -V.A.G 1552 -Possible cause of faultRectifying fault 
less than 15.0 %
t  lower value can only occur during trailing throttle driving
  
 
t  Unmetered air
–  Testing intake system for tightness → Chap. 24-2.
greater than 35.0 %
t  Poor idling (engine not running on all cylinders)
–  Injector or spark plugs faulty.
t  Electrical consumers on
–  Switch off electrical consumers.
t  Steering wheel at limit stop
–  Turn steering wheel into middle position.
t  Gear engaged (automatic gearbox)
–  Move selector lever into position “P” or “N”.
t  Air mass meter faulty
–  Test wiring and plug connections to air mass meter -G70 - according to current flow diagram.
