Removing and installing charge-air cooler
Removing and installing charge-air cooler
–  Remove middle and right sound dampening system.
–  Unscrew right wheelhouse liner half-way beginning from the front.
   
–  Release screws -arrows- for charge air cooler.
–  Separate the air hose at the top on the charge air cooler.
  Note
If the vehicle is equipped with Xenon headlights, the right headlight must be removed → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.94.
–  Disconnect plug at charge pressure sender -G31- page → Anchor, Pos. 4 (not valid for vehicles with engine identification characters AGU).

–  Separate intake hose -2- at charge-air cooler.
–  Release bottom fixing screw -1- of charge air cooler.
–  Move the plastic liner as far back as possible to the rear until the charge-air cooler can be taken out.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
