1) When selecting the display group 095 under function 04 “Basic setting”, a fixed ignition point of approx. 9.0° before TDC is set in idle by the engine control unit.
Display group 098 - adaptation of throttle valve control unit
When display group 098 is selected in function 04 “Basic setting”, the engine control unit is adapted to the throttle valve control unit -J338 -.

  Note
t  to display group 099:
t  For defined fault finding the lambda control is switched off when selected in display group 099 in function 04 “Initiate basic setting” and switched on in function 08 “Read measured value block”.
t  The lambda control is automatically active again when quitting function 04 “Basic setting”.
t  It can be switched back and forward between the function 04 “Basic setting” and the function 08 “Read measured value block” by pressing the buttons 4 and 8 at -V.A.G 1552-.
