  Note
t  Removing and installing the exhaust manifold → Chapter or → Chapter.
t  Always replace self-locking nuts with new ones.
1 - Gasket
–  replace
2 - 25 Nm
–  replace
–  Coat with hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-
3 - Front exhaust pipe
4 - Gasket
–  replace
5 - Oxidation catalytic converter
–  protect against shocks and blows
6 - 25 Nm
–  replace
7 - Screw
8 - Retaining strap
9 - 25 Nm
10 - Rear silencer
–  it is installed as standard with part -11-, supplied separately for repairs
–  exhaust pipe with separation point → Fig.
11 - Front silencer
–  it is installed as standard with part -10-, supplied separately for repairs
–  exhaust pipe with separation point → Fig.
–  align free of stress
12 - Double clamp
–  Fitting position: bolted connection points to the left; fitting location is marked by three lugs on the front silencer
–  tighten bolts evenly
13 - 40 Nm
