| Handheld multimeter, e.g. -V.A.G 1526 A oder B- |

| Measuring tool set, e.g. -V.A.G 1594 A, B oder C- |
| l
| Throttle valve must be in the idling position. |
| l
| On vehicles with an automatic gearbox the selector lever must be in position “P” or “N”. |
| l
| If vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, this must be switched off. |
| l
| If the vehicle is equipped with cruise control, it must be correctly set. |
