Inspection
   
l  Version -I.-:
–  The condensation water drain valve -A- should not stick and must close, its drain opening must be located at the bottom.
l  Version -II.-:
–  Note: The water drain openings must not be blocked by contaminations and must be located at the bottom.
Removing and installing
–  Open the flap -D- of the heat-protection matting (at the pre-type punched points) and remove the condensation water drain valve.
  Note
t  Remove condensation water drain valve -A- towards the bottom out of the floor plate, when installing pay attention to the proper position in the bulkhead -B-.
t  The condensation water drain valve must not rest against the flap of the heat-protection matting in the installed position -D-.
t  The condensation water drain valve must not stick with wax or underbody sealant (version -I-.) or it must not be blocked (version -II-).
t  If problems exist due to humidity in the passenger compartment, check the condensation water drain -C- for correct fitting position in the condensation water drain valve -A-.
t  Only use valve version -II- when replacing valve -A-.
