Removing and installing the expansion valve > < Remove and install the heat-protection insulation for the expansion valve

Removing and installing the refrigerant lines on the expansion valve
Removing and installing the refrigerant lines on the expansion valve
(Must only be performed in a service centre!)
–  Drain refrigerant circuit.
–  Remove heat-protection insulation -A- → Chapter.
   
–  Remove screw -B- (8 Nm) and remove refrigerant lines -C- and -D-.
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
  Note
t  Replace both “O”-ring seals -E- (16.7 mm; 1.8 mm) and -F- (7.6 mm; 1.8 mm).
t  Shut off open refrigerant lines and expansion valve connections.
t  Fit refrigerant lines stress free.
