Removing and installing the gearbox

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Alignment rails -MP3-457 (VW 457)- (change → Anchor)

t	Supporting device for engine -MP3-470 (3300 A)-

t	Gearbox attachment device -MP3-478 (3336)-

t	Supporting device -MP9-200 (10-222A)-

t	Gearbox mount -3282-

t	Adjusting plate -3282/5-

t	Grease for the plug serration of the clutch disc -G 000 100-

t	Hexagon screw M8 x 25

–	The alignment rail -MP3-457 (VW 457)- is required when removing and installing the gearbox.

An additional hole -arrow- is necessary for attaching the alignment rail -MP3-457 (VW 457)- to the assembly carrier.

Dimensions in mm.

–	If this hole is not yet present, a hole of 8.5 mm Ø -arrow- must be drilled into the alignment rail -MP3-457 (VW 457)-.
