Bus:
Bus designates a system to transfer and distribute data.
CAN:
Controller Area Network is a bus system which operates with two lines. They are called bus cables. Data is serially i.e in sequence transmitted to the connected control units via the bus cables.
These control units communicate by means of the CAN bus i.e. they exchange data using the CAN bus.
