Disassembling and assembling the differential gear > < Replace gasket ring for right joint flange

Replace gasket ring for the propshaft output flange in the angle gearbox
Replace gasket ring for the propshaft output flange in the angle gearbox
(Angle gearbox removed.)
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Gearbox mount -T30012 (3221)-
t  Stop plate -T30012/1A (3221/1A)-
t  Drive bushing -MP3-402 (VW 244 B)-
t  Assembly device for rubber bearing -MP6-601-
  Note
The gasket ring for the propshaft output flange can only be replaced with the angle gearbox removed.
Removing
–  Remove angle gearbox → Chapter.
   
–  Fasten angle gearbox to gearbox mount.
–  Remove nut with socket wrench insert -A-.
–  Swivel angle gearbox in such a way that the output flange points upwards.
–  Remove propshaft output flange.
–  Lever out gasket ring with screwdriver.
Install
  S39-0141
–  Drive in new gasket ring until flush.
–  Install propshaft output flange and tighten to 350 Nm.
–  Install angle gearbox → Chapter.
–  Inspecting gear oil level in the manual and angle gearbox → Chapter.
