Electrical Test
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Handheld multimeter (e.g. -V.A.G 1526 A-)
t  Measuring tool set -V.A.G 1594 A-
t  Vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552 - with cable -V.A.G 1551/3-
The test steps → Anchor apply for
–  Vehicles (up to 9.99), for which the function of the Haldex coupling is not at all or only partly included. In this case the full electric inspection must be carried out.
–  Vehicles (as of 10.99), for which the final control diagnosis does not indicate the fault source. In this case the full electric inspection must be carried out.
–  Vehicles (as of 10.99), for which the final control diagnosis does give a direct indication of the fault source. Then only perform the recommended test steps (targeted approach).
Test requirements
l  Oil level of Haldex coupling O.K, check → Chapter.
l  All fuses according to current flow diagram O.K (to check remove fuses from the fuse holder).
l  Supply voltage O.K. (min. 11.0 V)
l  Brake light O.K.
