Setting the shift mechanism as of 05.99
Special tools required
t  Rig pin -T10027A-
  Note
t  The following are required for correct setting of the shift mechanism:
t  Operating and transmission elements of the shift mechanism are in perfect condition.
t  Shift mechanism operates freely.
t  Gearbox, clutch and clutch control must be in perfect condition.
l  Gearbox in Neutral.
   
–  Pull forward the locking mechanism at shift cable and at selector cable as far as the stop -direction of arrow 1- and then lock by turning to the left -direction of arrow 2-.
  Note
The control cable must be moved in the cable lock.

Fix the gearshift shaft as follows:
–  Press the gearshift shaft downwards -direction of arrow 1-.
–  When pressing down the gearshift shaft turn angle lever -A- in -direction of arrow 2-.
t  The angle lever -A- must point vertically upwards.

–  Lift off collar upwards -arrows- and pull out to the rear.
–  If present, pull sound absorption towards gearshift knob.

Fix the gearshift lever as follows:
–  Insert rig pin -T10027 A- through hole -A- into hole -B-.

–  Turn locking mechanism at shift cable and at selector cable to the right up to the stop in -direction of arrow-.
The spring pushes the locking mechanism into the initial position.

–  Turn angle lever -A- back to the initial position in -direction of arrow-.
t  The angel lever -A- must be in a horizontal position.

–  Pull the rig pin -T10027 A- out of the holes -A- and -B-.
–  Fit collar into the frame.
