Setting friction torque
–  Screw on twelve-point nut for shank bevel gear.

–  Tighten twelve-point nut to 120 Nm, then measure the friction torque → Chapter, if necessary further increase the tightening torque until the prescribed friction torque is set.
A - Toggle with 3/4" drive
B - Torque wrench with 3/4" drive
–  Turn the torque wrench-B- to the right in order to screw on.
–  If necessary, use an adapter of 1/2" to 3/4".
  Note
Only increase the tightening torque slowly and at the same time, read the friction torque several times, if the prescribed friction torque is exceeded, the distance sleeve must be renewed and the adjustment repeated! A distance sleeve which was once pressed together too much can no longer be used.
