| 1 - | Positioning element |
| Removing: |
| – | Switch off the ignition and all electrical components. |
| – | Remove the tailgate/luggage compartment cover → Chapter. |
| – | Partly remove side trim panels in luggage compartment → Chapter. |
| – | Disconnect plug (Pos. 5). |
| – | Slacken screws (Pos. 6) and remove setting element towards the rear. |
| Installing: |
| – | Installation is carried out in the reverse order. |
| 2 - | Mounting part |
| 3 - | Fuel tank lid unit |
| q | Consists of the fuel tank lid -4- and the rubber sleeve. |
| Removing: |
| – | Remove fuel tank cap. |
| – | Remove setting element (Pos. 1). |
| – | Turn the mounting part by 90° (Pos. 2) and take it out. |
| – | Remove the fuel tank lid unit from the side section. |
| Installing: |
| – | Installation is carried out in the reverse order. |

| 5 - | Plug connection |
| 6 - | 1.5 Nm |
