Removing and installing the interior mirror with rain sensor
Removing and installing the interior mirror with rain sensor
  Note
If the rain sensor is removed from the retaining plate on the windscreen (e.g. when changing the windscreen), it can be subsequently installed again → Electrical System; Rep. gr.92. Store the removed sensor dust-free until it is installed again and make sure that the silicone coupling cushion does not get dirty.
Removing:
   
–  Press apart pedestal halves -1- and -3- and take off.
–  Pull pedestal -5- with mirror -2- downwards and away from retaining plate -8-.
–  Disconnect plug connection -4- and plug connection -6- from rain sensor -7- → Electrical System; Rep. gr.92.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
