Removing and installing bottom trim panel of pillar C

Removing:

For vehicles with head airbags:

WARNING

Safety regulations should be observed when handling the airbag units → Chapter.

For all vehicles:

–	Remove bottom trim panel of pillar B → Chapter.

–	Removing rear seat bench → Chapter

–	Remove the side upholstery → Chapter

–	Fold the rear seat forwards.

–	Remove screw (Pos. 1) - 1.5 Nm and nut (Pos. 3).

–	Loosen top part of trim panel for pillar C upwards -arrow A-.

–	Remove bottom trim panel of pillar C (Pos. 4) towards the front -arrow B-.

Installing:

–	Installation is carried out in the reverse order; pay attention to the following points:

For vehicles with head airbags:

t	Pay attention to the sequence when connecting the battery → Electrical System → Rep. gr.27.

For all vehicles:

–	Recondition the clips (Pos. 2) in the bottom trim panel of pillar C (Pos. 4), if necessary replace with new ones.
