Distinguishing features of the ABS system
Distinguishing features of the ABS system
t  ABS - wheel control system when braking. It prevents the wheels from locking when braking.
t  ESP - Electronic Stability Program. It prevents the vehicle from skidding by means of a targeted intervention in the braking and steering process.
t  EDL - Electronic Differential Lock. It enables the driving off on a road with different friction coefficients under the right and left drive wheel by braking of the wheel which is slipping.
t  TCS - traction control system. Prevents the driving wheels from slipping when accelerating by throttling the engine power output.
t  MBA - Mechanical brake assistance.
t  HBA - Hydraulic brake assistance.
t  EDC - Engine drag torque control. Prevents the driving wheels from locking, if suddenly the accelerator pedal is released or when braking with a gear engaged.
t  EBD - Electronic brake pressure distribution.
t  ASC - automatic steering control. Recommends to the driver a change in the steering position, which under certain conditions can increase the efficiency of the ESP.
t  HHC - Hill Hold Control. Enables an easy driving off on uphills, without the vehicle rolling back and also without operating the locking brake.
t  RKA (TPM) - Tyre inspection display
t  XDS - Supplement to electronic differential lock. It reacts when the front inside wheel lifts during fast cornering. XDS intervenes by using braking pressure on the inside wheel, in order to prevent spinning. In doing so, the traction improves and the track stability of the vehicle increases.
