Brake pedal - Vehicles with right-hand drive > < Setting, removing and installing the brake light switchF and brake pedal switchF47 until 10.05

Removing and installing brake light switch F and brake pedal switch F47 as of 11.05
Removing and installing brake light switch -F- and brake pedal switch -F47- as of 11.05
Removing:
–  Remove air filter → Relevant Engine; Rep. gr.24 or → Rep. gr.21.
–  Remove battery and battery tray → Electrical System; Rep. gr.27.
   
–  Disconnect plug connection -1- from brake pedal switch -F47--3-.
–  Screw out screw -2- from master brake cylinder.
–  Take switch -3- out of the lock -4-.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
  S47-0121
Tightening torque:
Brake light switch -F- and brake pedal switch -F47- to brake cylinder5 Nm

Inspection:
→ Vehicle diagnostic tester
