Removing and installing an engine cover with air filter
Removing and installing an engine cover with air filter
  Note
The air filter is integrated in the engine cover.
Removing
   
–  Unclip the air intake hose -1- from the air guide -2- upwards and laterally.
  S24-0547
–  Disconnect plug -2- from intake air temperature sender -G299-.
–  Detach vacuum line -1-.
  S24-0548
–  Pull out oil dipstick -1-.
–  Detach the engine cover on the points marked with -arrows-.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following:
–  Make sure that the rubber bearings are clipped into the air filter.
–  Press the engine cover in the area of the attachments downwards.
–  Insert the oil dipstick up to the stop into the guide tube.
