| Insert valve into the guide. End of valve stem must be flush with guide. Because of the different stem diameters only use inlet valve in inlet guide or outlet valve in outlet guide. |

| If the wear limit is exceeded, repeat measurement with new valves. If the wear limit is again exceeded, replace cylinder head. The valve guides cannot be replaced. |
