Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Locking pin -T10060 A-
Removing
–  Slacken the terminal on the rear side of the activated charcoal reservoir.
   
–  Detach reservoir with its connected hoses upwards from the bracket -arrow- and lay to the side.
  Caution
Risk of damage through reversing the rotation direction of an already used V-ribbed belt.
Mark the direction of rotation with chalk or a felt-tip pen for the re-installation before removing the V-ribbed belt.

–  Loosen the V-ribbed belt by swivelling the tensioning element in -the direction of the arrow-.
–  Interlock the tensioning element with the locking pin -T10060 A-.
–  Remove the V-ribbed belt.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following:
  Note
t  Before you install the V-ribbed belt, the generator and the AC compressor must be securely mounted.
t  Pay attention to the correct position and rotation direction of the V-ribbed belt in the belt pulley when installing it.
Each time work has been completed:
–  Start engine and check belt run.
