  Note
t  Before testing or repairing check all hoses and lines for tight connection and leaktightness.
t  Hose connections and hoses of the charge air system must be free of oil and grease before being installed.
t  Secure all hose connections with corresponding hose clips.
1 - 8 Nm
2 - Support
q   Check fitting position
3 - Charge air cooler
q   removing and installing → Chapter
4 - top seal
q   fitted onto charge air cooler
5 - 3 Nm
6 - Charge pressure sender -G31- / Intake air temperature sender -G42-
7 - O-ring
q   replace if damaged
8 - Support
9 - 5 Nm
10 - Connecting hose
11 - Charge air pipe
12 - Connecting hose
q   for intake manifold flap motor -V157-
13 - 8 Nm
14 - Connecting hose
q   to exhaust gas turbocharger
15 - bottom seal
q   fitted onto charge air cooler
