Check double non-return valve, Engine identification character BWA
Check double non-return valve, Engine identification character BWA
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Hand vacuum pump, e.g. -V.A.G 1390- or -VAS 6213-
–  Remove engine cover → Chapter.
   
–  Disconnect the plug from the activated charcoal filter system solenoid valve 1 -N80- and the fuel pressure sender for low pressure -G410--arrows-.
–  Pull off the activated charcoal filter system solenoid valve 1 -N80--B- from the hose -A-.
  N24-10161
–  Connect the hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213- to the hose for double non-return valve -arrow-.
–  Position the sliding ring -1- of the hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213- in the -direction of arrow- for “vacuum”.
–  Operate the hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213- several times.
l  A vacuum should build up.
If no vacuum builds up:
–  Replace double non-return valve.
