| Remove connecting hoses from charge air cooler, if it is not yet performed. |

| Release the screws of the brackets for charge air cooler. |

WARNING Do not open the refrigerant circuit of the air conditioning system. |

Caution To avoid causing damage to the condenser and to the refrigerant lines and hoses make sure the lines and hoses are not over-extended, kinked or bent. |

Note For the following work, a second mechanic is required to hold the charge-air cooler. |

| Swivel the charge air cooler towards the rear, remove the lateral bearings and unhook out of the lower bearings. |
