Removing
–  Drain the refrigerant circuit with the aid of the A/C service station.
–  Put lock carrier in service position → Body Work → Rep. gr.50.
–  Release fixing screws for the radiator → Engine → Rep. gr.19.
–  Attach radiator with workshop tools (cable strap or welding wire) to workshop crane -V.A.G 1202 A- and lifting device -2024 A- and unhook radiator from lock carrier. Coolant hoses and refrigerant lines remain connected.
   
–  Unscrew screw -1- (if necessary, remove expanding rivet) and remove retaining clip -2-.
–  Unscrew screws -5- and pull out the fluid reservoir with dessicator -3- towards the top.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following:
  S87-0219
t  Replace O-rings -4-.
t  First tighten the screws -5- and then the screw -1- to 5 Nm.
t  Fill the refrigerant circuit with the aid of the A/C service station.
