Removing and installing the bowden wire for temperature flap
Removing and installing the bowden wire for temperature flap
Removing
–  Remove left footwell vent → Chapter.
–  Remove the side cover of the centre console on the left side → Body Work → Rep. gr.68.
–  Fit rotary knob of heater control fully into the position „cold“.
–  Remove the heater control → Chapter.
–  Remove flex shaft for positioning unit of air distribution flaps from the adapter → Chapter.
   
–  Release the catch -4- of the Bowden wire cover -1- and take the Bowden wire cover out of the adapter.
–  Release the ball -2- from the lever -3- of the control.

–  Unclip Bowden wire at the positioning unit for temperature flap -1- and at the heater unit -2-.
Install
  S80-0132
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the Bowden wire is positioned below the hook -arrow-.
–  Fit on heater control and check whether it is possible to easily turn the temperature knob from „cold“ to „warm“.
