Top up rear final drive with oil > < Check the oil level in the rear final drive or top up with oil

Check the oil level in the rear final drive
Check the oil level in the rear final drive
–  Place a catch pan under the rear final drive.
   
–  Unscrew screw -1- for oil inspection.
  Note
Never release the following screws: -2- (drain plug for rear final drive), -A- (filler screw for Haldex coupling) and -B- (drain plug for Haldex coupling).
Oil is at the correct level if the rear final drive is filled up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.
–  Screw in new screw -1- and tighten to 15 Nm
