Removing and installing angle gearbox > < Tightening torques

Check gear oil level
Check gear oil level
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Socket wrench insert -T30023 (3357)-
Gearbox oil specification → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts.
–  Remove the noise insulation below the engine/gearbox → Body Work; Rep. gr.50.
   
–  Unscrew gearbox oil filler threaded plug -arrow-.
The oil is at the correct level if the gear is filled up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.
–  Screw in screw -arrow- using a new sealing ring.
–  Tighten screws -arrow- to tightening torque → Chapter.
If re-filling, do the following:
–  Unscrew plug -arrow-.
–  Pour in gear oil up to lower edge of filler hole.
–  Screw in screw -arrow- using a new sealing ring.
–  Tighten screws -arrow- to tightening torque → Chapter.
–  Install the noise insulation below the engine/gearbox → Body Work; Rep. gr.50.
