Removing and installing the exhaust gas recirculation valveN18
Removing and installing the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18-
Removing
–  Remove fan shroud with radiator → Chapter.
   
–  Release screws -arrows-.
–  Expose coolant hose -3-.
–  Loosen hose clamp -2-.
–  Disconnect plug -1- at the charge pressure sender -G31- and remove the right charge air pipe.

–  Disconnect the plug -3- from the throttle valve control unit -J338-.
  N15-10409
–  Release screws -arrows- and remove throttle valve control unit -J338-.
  A23-10150
–  Disconnect plug -1- on the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18-.
–  Screw out screws -2- and -3- and remove exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18-.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
t  Always replace gasket rings and seals.
t  Tightening torques: → Chapter and:
t  Octavia II → Chapter.
t  Superb II → Chapter.
t  Yeti → Chapter.
