1 - 15 Nm
2 - Sealing flange
q   on belt pulley side
q   must be positioned on dowel sleeves
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   Replace crankshaft seal on belt pulley side → Chapter
3 - Toothed belt
q   for oil pump drive
q   check for wear and damage, replace if necessary.
q   mark the fitting position for re-installation
4 - 10 Nm
5 - Dipstick
q   Oil level must not exceed the max. marking
6 - Guide tube
7 - Retaining clip
8 - Fitting sleeve
9 - O-ring
q   replace
10 - 10 Nm
11 - Oil pump
q   with pressure control valve 0.45 MPa (4.5 bar)
q   with safety valve 1.0 MPa (10.0 bar)
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   before installing, check whether both dowel sleeves are present
q   if there is any scoring on the contact surfaces of the gears, replace
q   Tighening torque of oil pump cover at oil pump housing: 10 Nm
If the toothed belt or the oil pump must be removed:
t  Check smooth operation of oil pump:
t  It must be possible to easily turn the toothed belt sprocket with the finger
t  if the oil pump is sluggish, it must be replaced → Chapter
12 - Intake manifold
q   Clean strainer if dirty
13 - Baffle
14 - 15 Nm
15 - 15 Nm
16 - Oil pan
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   install with silicone sealant → Electronic catalogue of original parts
17 - 15 Nm
18 - Drain plug, 30 Nm
q   with integrated gasket ring
q   replace
19 - 10 Nm
q   replace
20 - Oil level and oil temperature sender -G266-
q   check → Vehicle diagnostic tester
q   removing and installing → Chapter
21 - O-ring
q   replace
22 - Line
q   to oil level and temperature sender
23 - Pressure valve, 27 Nm
q   opens at 0.25..0.32 MPa (2.5..3.2 bar) overpressure
q   replace without sealant
q   removing and installing → Chapter
24 - Oil injection nozzle
q   for piston cooling
q   removing and installing → Fig.
