–  Completely empty the fuel tank → Chapter.
–  Remove fuel delivery unit → Chapter, → Chapter.
–  Carry out a visual inspection to assure that the empty fuel tank as well as the emptied fuel delivery unit do not contain any metal abrasion or swarf.
In the event that metal swarfs are present?
   Yes ⇒ step 3: metal swarfs are present in the fuel delivery unit and the fuel tank → Chapter.
   No ⇒ step 4: metal swarfs are not present in the fuel delivery unit and the fuel tank → Chapter.
