| The position of the ray of light should be adjusted when driving in countries which drive on the right or the left thereby preventing blinding of the drivers travelling in the opposite direction. |
| On vehicles which have the Maxi DOT display in the dash panel insert, the position of the ray of light in the menu „Maxi DOT“ function „light and sight - tourist light - right-hand drive or left-hand drive“ can be adjusted see → Owner's manual Octavia II. |
| If the dash panel insert is not equipped with the Maxi DOT display, the position of the ray of light must be adjusted with → Vehicle diagnostic tester. |
