Removing and installing the battery tray in the engine compartment
Removing and installing the battery tray in the engine compartment
Removing
–  Remove air filter housing → Engine; Rep. gr.23 diesel engines or → Engine; Rep. gr.24 petrol engines.
–  Remove the battery → Chapter.
–  Remove bracket with liquefied petroleum gas control unit (only LPG vehicles) → Engine; Rep. gr.24.
   
–  Screw out the screws -arrows- (9 Nm) and remove the battery tray.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
–  On LPG vehicles, spacer washers of 4 mm thickness are fitted between the bracket and the body below the front screws -bottom arrows-.
