–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
–  Remove wiper arm with wiper blade → Chapter.
–  Take off bottom trim panel of tailgate → Body Work; Rep. gr.70.
   
–  Unplug connector -1- at wiper motor.
–  Detach hose -2- to spray nozzle.
–  Unscrew nuts/screws (7 Nm) -arrows- and remove wiper motor.
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

When installing the wiper motor, ensure that the seal in the rear window is positioned as shown in the illustration.
