  WARNING
Safety measures should be observed when handling the airbag units → Chapter.
Disconnect the earth strap from the battery before commencing work on the electrical system → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.27.
  Note
t  Violent disassembly of the upper trim panel for pillar B poses the risk of triggering the head airbag.
t  The trim panel should be replaced with a new one after very disassembly of the top trim panel for pillar B.
   
The process of removal and installation on vehicles with an airbag is identical. One should, however, take note of the various versions.
1 - Trim panel of pillar B top
2 - Seat belt
3 - Clips
4 - Rebound strap
5 - Pillar B
t  Switch on the ignition before connecting the battery.
  WARNING
Nobody should be in the vehicle when the battery is being connected.
  Note
Additional operations should be carried out after the battery earth strap has been connected → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.27.
