Premium Moulded Headliners for Optimum Trim and Noise Insulation

Removing and installing moulded headliner

Removing
–  Remove top trim panels of pillars A.
t  Vehicles without head airbag: → Chapter
t  Vehicles with head airbag: → Chapter
–  Remove top trim panels of pillars B.
t  Vehicles without head airbag: → Chapter
t  Vehicles with head airbag: → Chapter
–  Remove top trim panels of pillars C.
t  Vehicles without head airbag: → Chapter
t  Vehicles with head airbag: → Chapter
–  Removing recessed handles → Chapter.
–  Remove interior lighting → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.96.
–  Removing sun visors → Chapter.
–  Remove reading lights → Chapter.
   
–  Unclip the cover for electric drive mechanism -1-.
–  Push moulded headliner -2- backwards, and pull forwards and down -arrows A-.
–  Push moulded headliner -2- forwards, and lower -arrow B-.

–  Pull cable harness -1- away from headliner -2- take the moulded headliner out of the vehicle.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; pay attention to the following points:
–  The cable harness must be secured to the headliner.
