Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Drive bushing -MP1-316 (30-100)-
t  Two-arm extractor
Removing
–  Remove the upper part of the oil pan → Chapter.
–  Remove the sealing flange at the front → Chapter.
–  Remove the chain tensioner and chain.
   
–  Pull the chain sprocket off the crankshaft using a claw extractor -2-, while protecting the shaft end of the crankshaft with a suitable washer -1-.
Install
  WARNING
Wear protective gloves!
–  Heat up the chain sprocket in an oven for about 15 minutes to 220°C.

–  Place the chain sprocket on the shaft end using pliers with a drive bushing -MP1-316 (30-100)- and slide on until the stop on the crankshaft is reached.
