The control unit for the multi-functional steering wheel is to be found on the 13-pin relay carrier -A- (relay location 8 and 9) behind the lower part of the dash panel on the driver's side.
  Note
A new control unit must be coded if the control unit for the multi-functional steering wheel is replaced → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.
