Removing and installing TAXI two-way radio system
Removing and installing TAXI two-way radio system
  WARNING
Disconnect earth strap from the battery before commencing work on the electrical system.
  Note
t  Before disconnecting the battery determine the code of radio sets fitted with anti-theft coding.
t  Observe the instructions when re-connecting the battery → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  2 ejection plates with dimensions 100 x 19 x 1 mm
Removing
   
–  Fit ejection plates -1- into the holes in the frame of the two-way radio system.
–  Pull two-way radio system out of the frame.
–  Separate the antenna cable and plug connectors.
Install
–  Connect the antenna cable and plug connectors to the two-way radio system.
–  Insert the two-way radio system into the frame until it audibly clicks into place.
