Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Release tool for radio -T10057-
t  Release tool for radio -T30005-
Removing
  Note
t  The anti-theft code should most certainly be activated if the radio with anti-theft code is replaced ( → Operating instructions for the radio). The new code number must be advised to the customer.
t  Remove radio “Gamma” using the release tool -T10057- and remove radio “Grundig MS 303” and “Symphony” using the release tool -T30005-.
t  Removal and installation of the radio “Rhapsody” is identical to the removal and installation of the radio navigation device → Chapter.
   
–  Position the release tool in the release slot, as shown, until it clicks into position.
–  Remove radio from the dash panel using the grab rings on the release tool.
  Note
t  Do not press aside or twist release tool -T30005- or -T10057- during these operations.
t  In order to pull off the release tool, press in the side catches at the radio set.
–  Separate antenna cable and plug connections.
Install
–  Attach the aerial cable to the radio.
–  Mount plug.
–  Carefully insert radio into dash panel until it locks in the installation slot.
If the radio was replaced:
–  Enter safety code, see → Operating instructions for the radio.
–  Code the radio → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.
