Removing and installing right temperature flap control motorV159 > < Left-hand drive

Removing
–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
–  Remove storage compartment on passenger side → Body Work; Rep. gr.70.
–  Remove left footwell vent → Chapter.
–  Remove dash panel holder in front of the control motor (two screws).
–  Disconnect the plug connection at the control motor.
   
–  Unscrew screw -1- (1.4 Nm) and unhook the control motor from the catch -arrow-.
–  Slightly turn the control motor and unhook it from the control cable of the temperature flap.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:

t  After installing the control motor, it is necessary to test the operation of the temperature flap.
t  Carry out the function „Initiate basic setting“ with the Vehicle diagnosis, measurement and information system -VAS 5051-.
