Short description
   
On certain gearboxes the additional identification characters are located at the top of the gearbox close to the selector lever control cable -arrows-.

In order to read off the code letters below the console directly from the gearbox, the engine must be supported. The console -A- of the left unit mounting must be removed.
When doing this, it is important to lower the engine/gearbox sufficiently until the console -A- can be pushed to the rear. If they are lowered further, the pendulum support will be damaged.
–  Remove the complete air filter housing → Engine; Rep. gr.23.
  Note
If the battery earth strap is disconnected and connected, carry out additional operations → Electrical System; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove battery and battery tray → Electrical System; Rep. gr.27.
–  Support engine with gearbox using the supporting device -MP9-200 (10-222 A)- and remove and install the gearbox console → Chapter.
After the installation, the selector lever control cable must be set → Chapter.
