When correct tension is obtained, torque lock nut to 25 - 33 ftlb (34 - 44 Nm).

4.

To lock adjusting bolt, turn counterclockwise to torque of 2.9 - 4.3 ftlb (4 - 6 Nm).

NOTE: When installing a new belt, adjust to specification, run engine for 5 minutes, and readjust tension to compensate for initial stretch.
