Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Front Strut
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheels, allowing front suspension to hang free.
3. Remove brake hose from strut bracket.
4. On models with ABS, remove ABS wheel speed sensor
5. Remove lower strut bracket retaining bolts.
6. Supporting strut, then remove upper strut retaining bolts and strut.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specification.
