Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear Strut
1. Raise and support vehicle, allowing rear suspension to hang free.
2. Remove rear wheel.
3. Remove E-ring securing brake hose.
4. Disconnect brake pipe from wheel cylinder and install bleeder plug cap to prevent fluid loss.
5. Remove strut bracket bolts and nuts, then the brake hose from strut.
